Atlas Range BC Women's Snowshoes

The Atlas Range BC Women’s Snowshoes offer all the same bells, whistles and technology as the Men’s Range BC version, but are have been extensively field tested and designed with women in mind. To help with a women’s specifically designed snowshoe, Atlas made the bindings slightly smaller to accommodate a women’s smaller boot size as well as how their feet and bodies are specifically contoured to a female's geometry. The Atlas Range BC snowshoes are built with varying snow conditions in mind which you encounter frequently when going deep into the backcountry. Whether you are below or above tree line, it is very common to experience deep powder, windblown snow, ice, hardpack, slush, scree and every other snow condition that exists. You need a snowshoe that handle diversified conditions and, in many instances, all in one day. This innovative design is built around a single-piece Reactiv-Trac Frame with integrated saw-toothed aluminum traction rails that provide lightweight stability and traction for backcountry exploration. Adding to the grip provided by the traction rails is the lightweight, low-profile BC Crampon, crafter form tempered steel and bringing the bite needed in variable snow conditions many times found above tree line. Designed to accommodate larger mountaineering and snowboard boots, the Range BC PackFlat Binding features a field- replaceable urethane Z-Strap that holds the foot securely in place. When not in use, the PackFlat Binding allows snowshoes to nest together for easy and efficient packability. Rounding out the design are 19-degree heel lifts that reduce calf tension and tendon strain when going for those steep ascents.
